Yes, but how?

Hey, I made it through! The reason boys normally leave though is because we're always thinking "Huh? 5lbs? Girl don't need to lose any weight, what's she talking about?" etc...

I'll wish you look all the same, but I bet if you ask the hubby he'll tell you it's not needed!
Hey, congrats!! Yeah, you're about right. He actually told me last night that he doesn't think I need it, but that if it helps me gain some self-confidence then he's all for it. Personally, I think he's tired of me overanalyzing. ;)
Hehe, yes, good that he's supportive though! :)

I like that YBH thing, btw, it's good thinking as I find some preachers never remember that part.
I really like your blog. I see a lot of similarities in our approach to weight loss and how we view food. You should check this article about yo-yo dieting. It seems so appealing sometimes to hurry up and get fast results...but it's like the tortoise and the hare
I hope you find this helpful.

I can totally identify with you here - I love food, I love cooking it, and I love eating out, but equally I want to lose, okay, more than 10lb... I'm also like you in that it's black or white - which means no baddies. And then I am tempted by a plateful of cookies, and instead of just having one, I have 5...

I've been going down the move more route - although unlike you, I prefer a treadmill to running outside!

Good luck though!

Well, that's the risk behind setting hard and fast do's and don't's. Instead of allowing yourself moderation, you end up binging on the banned foods eventually. That's why I'm limiting it to three things only. I can still have a cookie when I want one. I can still have a slice of Cheesecake at the cheesecake factory. Because when it comes down to it, I don't habitually overeat on those things. They aren't a major and chronic source of my caloric intake. If I deprived myself of all sources of empty calories, I'd quit before the week was out. I've definitely tried that before and it does not work!

And a big good luck to you too! This whole weight loss thing is NOT easy!!

I think that's the problem with me - I don't seem to have an off button. There are things I don't binge on, but they're things I just don't like - like fruit cake, liquorice, most things with nuts in... however I could probably quite easily eat 2 or 3 slices of cheesecake.
