QotD: Daydream Believer
What do you daydream about? Is it something far-fetched, or something that might actually happen?

What don't I daydream about? It's probably a shorter list. But as for what I do daydream about...
- What it's going to be like being a Mom or what it'll be like to be pregnant (which actually kinda freaks me out). Soccer games, dance recitals, parent/teacher meetings, driving a minivan, tiny socks, plastic cereal bowls...
- Singing in a bar band or at an open mic night. Hey at least I'm somewhat realistic, right?
- Throwing fabulous parties at our house.
- Owning my own bakery business - and disregarding the fact that most people are more health conscious than a self-starter bakery could withstand.
- Moving back to Illinois and living small-town life again.
- Being old, retired, and touring the country in an RV with the husband.
- Becoming a high school teacher.
There are so many things I want to do in life.

You are me... I couldn't agree more with no. 1 to the extent that I just can't see myself doing it.
No. 2, I tend to stick to singing in the car or at home...
No. 3, I dream of having elegant dinner parties, but have only had a couple because we're always so busy!
No. 4, I even put together the startings of a business plan, and have bought the domain name for what I'd call it. Sadly I realised that there would probably be no money in it, given the amount of hours I'd have to bake to make enough stock! (Btw. Look up Gayle's Bakery... it's fascinating and might inspire you).
No. 5, well, not Illinois, but I'd love to live in small-town America (somewhere like Stars Hollow from the Gilmore Girls!)
No. 6, I have so many maps and guidebooks, and the most I can persuade Nick to do is maybe 6 months touring America. It'll have to wait til retirement probably though! There's so many places there that I want to see.
No. 7, okay, maybe not...
